Mapleton Early College

College Readiness One Student at a Time

  • Welcome to Mapleton Early College!

At Mapleton Early College, students experience a college-preparatory environment by balancing classes, workshops, independent, project-based learning, real-world learning through professional internships, and access to college courses. Students create an individualized project curriculum, internship learning goals, community-focused learning opportunities, and a college readiness plan. By their senior year, MEC students have learned to become problem-solvers, lifelong learners and cooperative members of the community, preparing them for college and beyond.

    Vision Statement
We are an inclusive community working to find our voice, realize our potential, and positively impact our world in the courageous pursuit of our dreams.

  • COVID Dashboard

The purpose of Mapleton's COVID-19 dashboard is to inform our community about our continued response to the pandemic by sharing reported confirmed cases, active cases, and cohort quarantines. The dashboard reflects information that has been reported to the district from staff and students and is updated daily. For updated county dashboards, please view Tri-County Health Department's Local COVID-19 Data Dashboards and COVID-19 Case/Testing Trends by School District Boundaries.

  • Layers of Protection - Updates and Information

As we welcomed our students back this past month, we continue to be successful in assuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students, staff, and community. We were hopeful that we would be able to enjoy more “post-pandemic” practices this school year, however, as we begin to see new and breakthrough cases in our community, we now need to reinstate some of what allowed us to be successful last year. Keeping our classrooms open while avoiding ‘rolling to remote’ is a priority for our schools.
